This was the once in a while gathering for the department. A night of fun, filling our stomach while enjoying each other’s cuisines. It was a night to get drunk though I don’t drink at all. haha!
Happy New Year and definitely I’ll be in and out of the social media for this year. Work, yes! It’s another year for JCIA and it’ll be a lot of pressure this time. Good luck. I’ll do my best. Fighting!
It’s Tuesday and I was able to get out of work on time and that can happen once in a blue moon. I got some time to talk to my mom and sister back home, do some laundry, cook and read some book. Oh, let’s not forget to watch a little on youtube. Geez, I’m getting addicted to the second season of Produce 101.
And I was about to go and meet my cousin last time but due to the workload, I can’t. C’est La Vie. haha!
I was craving for some Indian food so I told my friend to have dinner in our favorite place, Silver Sands. They served the best Masala Dosa and Gobi Manchurian I had ever tasted so far. haha! And I served myself some frozen yogurt from the grocery. I got it only for 3AED because it’ll expire in a week’s time. haha!
It’s been a not so long Tuesday.
It’s been raining like crazy the past few days and also today. Thankfully I’m off and one of the reason I’m lazy to get out of the house. haha! I realized that after some years of staying abroad, you get lazy to go out. All I want to do is to rest. Most probably the pressure and the stress at work is too much these days.
So last Tuesday I was in Abu Dhabi and I’m glad Doctor V had some government work to do, I decided to take an off too and do some of my paper works. But the rain stopped me from going very early, the bus left when I arrived at the station no breakfast and damn, too much traffic jam on my way.
I finished on that day too and had decided to visit my cousin and a friend. I had my lunch with them
because I was literally hungry and then helped my niece do some of her projects. Auntie duties. haha! And when I was about to go, I just got an emergency call so I have to cut my stay in the city short. It’s one of the most stressful days in our life. But everything is well now.
I was almost there in Grand Mosque. Unfortunately it was raining and as I had said I was really hungry so I skipped going there. And thanks to my handy dandy book, I can refresh my mind with some work stuffs while on the go.
And I got this turtle from Maldives! Thanks to Dr V for this. haha!
I was gone in my very own department for the past four days and I’d say, I felt good because I have nothing to think about but just the patients. I had no approvals to think about, nothing at all. My neurons was able to relax. All the heads who knows how I work tells the others about my thousand works. But we’re back to reality. Wake up!
My view those past four days trying to see anything new below.
And yes! I was holding the stethoscope again! No red tinge in my hands. haha!
And yes, I have to wake up. We’re back to reality.
I thought my skills got rusty. I even called my senior to stay behind me just in case I didn’t get it. Thank you Lord, I got it in one shot. No ouch and I got a very nice plasma fibrin.
It was a looong day. I almost give up to one of my patient. Til I see her on the next visit and hopefully the last.
But thanks for the tea, coffee, cupcakes and dates. One of our closest patient slash good acquaintance gave to us.
It’s weekend again! It means household chores and a lot of reading. How time just fly like this. It’s not that cold anymore. It’s just 21-25C these days and there was no rain. That’s not good ! So we had a meeting about stress management and well, I can relate well especially when we were talking about what’s happening inside the operating theatre. We can all manage stress and the answer is in yourself. True!
And we have a random garden in the middle of our hospital building. i really don’t know the purpose of it but obviously no one can stay there. But it’s a nice view before going inside the operating theatre.
